WebThe RVL now has a set of flood gates located just east of I-287 and the Bridgewater / Calco station. When closed, the gates are supposed to keep the creek away from residential areas inside the berm. The gates also prevent NJT from operating through the area. Engine and car storage facilities are in Raritan, a few miles west of the gates.
