WebThe main problem with repeater builds is that repeaters have no innate source of stat-to-dmg, which is pretty much required in the game right now. That means you need to either be Rogue 6, Arti 6, or have the Harper tree so you can get INT-to-dmg on RXBs and be able to decent damage. WebThe little problem is that warchanter is currently the bad path for bards. You could either go for swashbuckler or spellsinger. There are some universal enchantment trees you can buy from the shop with gold. For example, if you get inquisitive, it will work easily for a swashbuckler ranged build.

But bard doesn't get an inherent CHA-to-hit option like sorcerer (Eldritch Accuracy) or Favored Soul (Grace of Battle). Also their CHA-to-damage option (Smooth Flourishes) is restricted to SWF.

The reason repeaters are good now is because of the rate of fire triggering inexorable advance many more times than anything else.
