They are easy to kill and will attack you if you approach them so it a good excuse to disintegrate them (as i dont like killing creatures for no reason) xD. When you trap soul successfully, it will automatically fill gem of it's size. If you don't have such gem, it will fill the next larger one. Soul can't fill gem of lower size. Grand soul will newer fill petty gem, but petty soul can fill grand gem.
